How To Fix an OTF Switchblade Misfire Media
Published: 2 years ago
In this video Sam discusses a common problem with OTF auto knives. Often OTF knives misfire or come off track. If you are new to the OTF world then you may think it is broken but 95% of the time, it just needs oil or lubrication.
WD-40 is more of a cleaning agent so we definitely recommend that if you have been carrying your knife. Lint, dirt and other debris can get down in the firing mechanism causing it to misfire. To lubricate the knife, any REM or Gun/Knife oil will work. Every company has their preference but WD-40 is what we tell most people because just about everyone has that already in their home.
