One of a knife nerd's favorite hobbies is debating which blade steel is best, and it can get HEATED. But it begs the question: How much does it even matter? Sure, performance will vary between steels, but is the difference big enough to notice in real-world applications?
Böker wanted us to find out if George knew the answer, so they sent us a special version of the Böker BFF Packlite Collector's Edition. The set comes with 12 Packlites in 12 different blade steels, but George's have no markings engraved on them. The challenge was to put these knives to the test and see if George can figure out which blade steel is which.
