This SOG Flash I (FSA-7) knife has an AUS-8 stainless steel blade with a satin finish and a plain edge. The lightweight glass-reinforced black Zytel handle is durable and features a diamond non-slip texture.

As you push the ambidextrous thumb stud SOG's Spring Assisted Technology (S.A.T.) takes over with smooth and quick deployment of the blade. The Flash I blade is easy to release from the open position with the sliding button on the handle which disengages the piston lock mechanism. Another great feature on the Flash series is the side mounted safety tab to prevent a misfire. The handle is fitted with an ambidextrous or reversible pocket clip for tip-up carry.
