Sometimes everyone just needs an excuse to get away from the office and have some fun. This video and the resultant sale were our little escape. Plus, we wanted to throw a stellar deal out to our YouTube subs.
Thank you to Jacob for making this video happen. He donated his boat and fishing know-how in order to have a great time and film great footage on Utah Lake. Seriously, this video was a riot to shoot. There's just something glorious about filming chill adventures on a warm summer night; you can't beat that. Thank you to Levi and Jacob for being willing to be on camera. Levi is a great guy and used to be on the Blade HQ crew.
My challenge as the YouTube producer at Blade HQ is to capture knives on video and make them look awesome. But let's be honest: knives are pretty darn cool, but the typical person only pulls it from their pocket a handful of times every day... making it a little hard to film without contriving situations. In our past field tests, we've beaten the knives and worked them over. In this video, we simply use it in an everyday fashion. No beating, no abuse, just there when you need it.
