El Chete is a legend for a reason—it’s a wood-demolishing beast. But if you’ve ever hiked five miles with a 12-inch blade on your hip, you know that "beast" starts to feel a lot heavier by noon. That’s why we built the Lil' Chete.
In this video, we’re breaking down the Lil' Chete to see if shrinking the footprint means sacrificing the power. It’s still a 1/4" thick slab of 1095 high carbon steel, but it's designed for the person who needs to move fast and stay light without giving up their fire-prep capabilities.
The Main Event: Leo vs. Craig
To really test the theory, we’re putting these two against each other in a head-to-head "Chop-Off."
The Matchup: Leo’s got the strength advantage, but he’s swinging the smaller, faster Lil' Chete. Craig’s taking the heavy-hitting El Chete to see if the extra mass can bridge the gap.
