Season's Greetings from Forgotten Weapons! Media

Published: 2 years ago

Once upon a time, there was a great weapon forgotten by all. There it laid in rest, deep in a chthonic chamber, wrapped in brown paper, in a thick storage grease, covered with dust and cobweb. Even all the literary references of this great weapon had been lost long ago in the blazing fire of the Great Library of Alexandria.

But one day an explorer and adventurer sharing some resemblance to a major religious figure found a leather map in a secret auction, which led him to a bureau plat salvaged from a sunken galleon, which had a hidden compartment with a navigational instrument much like the Antikythera mechanism.

Using this instrument, the explorer finally found a peat mound from the moors of Scotland, under which laid a cover, sealed for all eternity. By lifting this cover, daylight flooded the chamber for the first time in thousands of years – the chamber in which the great weapon, in brown paper, in a thick storage grease, covered with dust and cobweb, had awaited for eons. Thus, the great weapon was again found and not forgotten anymore. Who was this great explorer and adventurer?

His name is Ian McCollum, and here we have his holiday greetings!
