Reviewing The Pocket Samurai by StatGear | Everyday Carry Knife Media

Published: 1 year ago

In this video, we review the "Pocket Samurai" by Statgear, an affordable, yet high quality pocket knife to add your everyday carry collection.

“First impressions count, right? ???? Well, the Pocket Samurai surely doesn’t disappoint.

Design: It’s got a sleek, scaled g10 handle with a sharp tanto-style blade. The build quality feels solid, they’ve used high quality pivot screws so there’s no blade play.

Functionality: The Pocket Samurai is flipper activated, making it easy to open very quickly. After using it for the last week it’s maintained it’s edge very well — from opening packages to cutting fruit. ???? It’s also got a secure liner lock so you won’t accidentally close it on your fingers.

Size: Well it’s obviously not called the Pocket Samurai for nothing. It’s a decent size, not too small that it’s hard to handle and not too big that it’s a pain to carry. It slides into your pocket without weighing you down. Plus, the pocket clip/lanyard loop makes it super convenient to carry.

Overall it’s a pretty slick EDC knife. It looks good, feels good and performs exactly how you intend it to - safely and reliably.

Blade length: 3”
