Rugged, Large 7.5" Fixed Blade Extreme Survival Knife - SCHF1 - Made from One Solid Piece of Tough, Edge Retaining, 1070 High Carbon Steel http://schrade.com/
This is the Schrade Extreme Survival Knife - SCHF1.
The SCHF1 has a very large, 7 1/2 inch, partially serrated, drop point blade that is coated in a protective, matte finish. The fine edge is over 5 1/2 inches long with an inch and a half of hybrid, flat-tip serrations that are designed to resist breaking, stay sharp and increase the slicing and sawing power of the knife.
The solid steel, barrel handle has a textured grip and houses a 12-piece bit / driver set. You can easily remove the bit set and fill the large handle cavity with compact tactical or survival gear. A rubber gasket in the end cap seals water out.
An 18 inch lanyard is included for extra safety or for use as emergency cordage. Secure the end cap to use the pommel as a crushing tool.
The SCHF1 is safely stored and carried in a ballistic nylon sheath. Lock the knife into the sheath with the adjustable strap. Use the lanyard to lash the sheath bottom to your leg. Fill the front pouch with your survival gear or decrease the profile of the sheath by removing it.
Use the adjustable rear strap for multiple carry options or easily attach the sheath to your belt without removing it.
