From within its sturdy, black aluminum handle, the 3.5 inch, 4034 stainless steel double-edged spear point blade of the SCHOTF3BS snaps instantly to life the moment its needed. Razor sharp out of the box, this out-the-front assisted opening knife supports both tactical and rescue operations.
Slide the safety lock to the open position... then nudge the finger actuator forward on the spine-side of the handle... the spring-assist launches the blade into action.
The blacked out spear point blade's double edge provides effective cutting and slicing capabilities to both upward and downward strokes... and the partially serrated edge increases versatility by adding cutting power.
And the spear point tip is highly effective at piercing.
To return the blade into the handle press the blade release lever, being careful to avoid contact with the sharp upper edge of the knife. With your thumb, pull the finger actuator toward the base of the knife until the blade is fully retracted... then slide the safety to the lock position.
A durable, heavy duty pocket clip keeps the SCHOTF3BS in place and ready for rapid deployment... grooves and jimping on the handle increase grip... and the steel tip breaks glass in emergency situations.
