Outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists alike will appreciate the ruggedly handsome appearance of the micarta handled SCHF36M. Forged from 8Cr13MoV high carbon quarter inch thick stainless steel, the 5 inch drop point blade is black powder coated for superior corrosion resistance.
Schrade sharp on arrival, the fine edge blade offers a tough tip capable of penetrating a wide range of materials… or serving as a drilling tool in survival situations. A generous finger choil lets you “choke up” on the blade for added control. And a 90 degree spine angle serves as a striker against a ferro rod.
Lightweight, contoured picked micarta handle slabs with cutouts exposing spine and grip jimping offer an excellent hand hold with eye-catching good looks. The tang extension serves as a crushing tool with a lanyard hole for tethering.
The black nylon sheath, with its velcro loop, is easily attached… without the need to remove your belt. Lash the sheath to your leg with the available cordage… or to gear. A single snap makes for ready access to the SCHF36M and the sheath pouch comes stocked with a ferro rod, striker, and sharpening stone to support in-the-field maintenance and fire starting capability.
