Hinderer automatic knives are back, and they’re entering a new generation.
In this video, Rick walks through the return of our automatic knives and introduces the Gen 2 platform.
Gen 2 Hinderer automatic knives feature a redesigned button lock automatic mechanism along with the addition of the Tri-Way Pivot System. For the first time, our automatic knives can be tuned with bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or Teflon washers, giving you the ability to dial in the feel to your preference.
We also made refinements to the design, including an updated button with a slightly larger diameter. This change improves engagement, control, and overall feel during deployment, especially in real-world use.
Alongside the launch of Gen 2, we are introducing a dedicated website built specifically for Hinderer automatic knives. Because laws around automatic knives vary by state, this new platform will help ensure compliance while creating a better overall experience.
