Magnacut quenching Media

From 2100F to -100F in less than 1 minute. Heat treating blades for our Skaha 2 folding knife. First we heat the blades up to over 2000F in protective foil pouches. Then they are removed from the Kiln and their pouches and quenched rapidly between aluminum plates. Within 45 seconds they can be handled safely without gloves. Then they go into a sub-zero quench in dry ice. After that we temper them in the Kiln for 2 cycles around 350F, though we didn't show that part in the video.
