The making of our ferrules Media

The new Classic 1891 kitchen knives feature precision-cast stainless steel ferrules, made at TPC Components in Hallstahammar, Sweden. The ferrules helps to keep any bacteria and moisture out of the wood and are designed with the traditional Dalavapnet - The coat of arms for Dalarna.
After casting, the ferrules are polished and sent to our knife factory in Mora, where the knives are carefully assembled. Every detail reflects the 100% Swedish-made quality and the craftsmanship we've perfected over 130 years of knife-making.
