The Cattlemen Cleaver 2.0 was born out of our quest to create the ultimate culinary toolkit. Designed with the discerning chef in mind, this isn’t just a knife — it’s a testament to Montana Knife Company’s dedication to craftsmanship and utility. With its formidable size and thickness, the Cattlemen Cleaver is designed to master the rigorous demands of culinary excellence, effortlessly transitioning from carving thick meats and breaking down tendons and bone to making quick work of chopping hearty vegetables.

Despite its beefy appearance, we made some slight changes to the Cattlemen Cleaver 2.0 to make it that much better. We slightly reduced the thickness of the blade and also added the signature back-sloping heel that all MKC culinary knives share to give you extra finger room and grip comfort.

The handle is still sculpted for comfort and ergonomic sing the same handle shape and construction as our Chef’s and Filet Knives, it really is a tool you’ll want to use every day. A balance of power and control is at the heart of its design — robust enough to tackle heavy-duty tasks without compromising the ability to maneuver with precision.
