Boye Dendritic Cobalt knives are known for their high performance cutting ability on hard to cut rigging line. They are impervious to saltwater corrosion and are non-magnetic.
Here is knifemaker David Boye doing a cutting demo with his Boye Cobalt Basic 3 knife. Endura Braid was chosen as the result of a survey taken by John Jamieson of Skipper Tips, who asked his subscribers which rigging line was the toughest to cut.
50% of the respondents named Endura Braid (aka Dyneema Double Braid, Spectra, Maxibraid, Dyneema SK75).
We had a 5 foot length of Endura Braid for the demo. David cut 76 pieces in 8.5 minutes.
