Closing Out the Black Card Knife Greg's Way Media
Published: 6 days ago
This next week will mark the end of an era for a special knife. Greg Medford pulled out all the stops for an original 250 backers of this - over half of which bought the knife without even a picture. Once the picture came out, the rest were gobbled up except for the few Greg set aside.
At a full .260" thick, the original page shows more of the details: https://medfordknife.com/product/black-card-knife/
From the video, the page where Greg's custom BC Knives will be offered next week:

As a knifemaker, one of the promises Greg made to the backers is to destroy the "tooling" to make the knife. The tooling is the aluminum plates, engineering setup, jigs and fixtures to mill the various parts and finishes of the knife. Without it, we couldn't continue to be able to sell or make the knife.
By destroying it and reserving a few parts to service the knife model over the years, we keep our promise to the original backers who participated. If you're already a Medford fan, this feels like cutting up the "Old-Stock" Praetorian Ti tooling. So if that sounds like something you want to see, tune in next week.
