Machining belt drive plate Media

In this video I'm machining a part that will upgrade my milling machine. Stock these little mills come with a gear driven spindle, made with plastic gears. They suck hard, and will shatter with even a mild load. So I made a quick and dirty belt drive conversion that's been bugging me for 2 years. Now it's time to do it right, the way I've always wanted to do it. This will also let me incorporate a spindle speed sensor so that the computer will know the RPM of the spindle, and can set it to whatever RPM the program calls for.
