Through weighing various pieces I figured out that G10 is 25% lighter than aluminum, so if I simply removed 25% of the material from my aluminum handles they'd weight the same as G10, so I did! Here is the process, the results, and the testing to see how strong the aluminum handles are after they've been hollowed out.
