Machined fixture plates update Media
Published: 13 years ago
In this vid I quickly go over how I use my fixture plates and how I've broken and improved them. The fixture plate is basically a chunk of 1/4" aluminum plate that I can bolt my scales down to for machining, very important. If the threaded holes fail, which they did, it leads to all kinds of problems. So instead of threaded aluminum holes I've made a new one using hex nuts that are pressed in.
Also at the end of the vid, Paramilitary 2 fixture plate is done and ready for use.
