Tumbler Part 3 - Eastwood with Green Plastic Pyramids Media

In part 3 of my tumbling series I'm focusing on the green plastic pyramid media that comes with the Eastwood heavy duty tumbler. 7lbs comes with the kit and I used about half of that for this video, so it's plenty to get you started. It's got abrasive stuff throughout the plastic pyramids so it's supposed to do a great job cutting rust on nasty steel nuts and bolts. In a nutshell, I love this media on aluminum! It produces a really cool stonewashed finish and smooths out the sharp edges just enough so that they're not annoyingly sharp anymore. I can't wait to see this surface finish on an anodized aluminum part. Also looking forward to trying this media with titanium, although I think ceramic is a better choice there. When I get some ceramic I'll do another tumbling video focusing on that.
