Tumbler Part 4 - Eastwood green pyramids on aluminum Media

Yet another test with my Eastwood heavy duty tumbler. They just sent me a friend request on youtube, so I must be doing something right. In this vid I used the green pyramids while tumbling mostly aluminum with a few stainless pieces too. The finish that it puts on aluminum is awesome, just pure wickedness. However I noticed that it can grind down the edges on the long parts, sometimes so bad that it looks like you dropped the part! But I think that might be a matter of still using dirty water in the tumbler, I should probably rinse it out after every use, otherwise the gritty abrasive just sinks to the bottom and grinds away at the wrong edges. I should also be using a few drops of dawn dish soap, since that really helps to keep things moving and slippery (just tried it, huge difference).
