Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber handles for a Manix 2 Media
Published: 12 years ago
This is a video I filmed a few months ago. My first time working with carbon fiber and I made a set of handles using lightning strike carbon fiber, or LSCF, where it has strands of copper wire braided throughout the carbon weave. Once sanded smooth and deburred it looks amazing! This video shows the process of machining the handles and sanding them smooth, as well as deburring all the little pokey bits of copper that stick up. After finishing them with 1500 grit wet/dry paper with WD40 they look AMAZING!
