KMT 113 - 440c stop pins on the Tormach Lathe Media
Published: 9 years ago
In this vid I'm working on the Tormach Slant-Pro lathe turning some 440c stainless steel for a few custom stop pins that I needed for my knives. 440c seems to be a tricky material to turn, sometimes it leaves a super shiny finish, sometimes it's ugly, and that's probably all due to insert choice and sharpness. It's very handy to be able to make little parts like this quickly and easily. For this part I think I used a combination of PathPilot conversational codes and some hand written codes. Hope you enjoy it!
