Below is the product description for our first ESEE folder. It has been a long process and we talk about some of the design aspects, inspiration, and challenges for this and several other projects. (Izula Folder, CR3.0, AGK 3D/S35) and why the Pinhoti got moved to the front of the line.
ATTN: First production run is a Limited Run 1-300 numbered sequentially. We hope to have more available at some point...explaination inside.
ESEE Knives Pinhoti Friction Folder
Designed by ESEE Knives staff member Shane Adams, the Pinhoti friction folder is made for everyday use and is equally at home around the campfire. Features include a scandi ground 1095 carbon steel blade mated to a sculptured brown micarta body with a brass pivot. While closed the 90° spine can be used to strike a ferro rod or scrape tender. The leather taco style sheath provides safe and secure carry and works with multitools and many pistol magazines as well. The PinhotiÔ pays homage to the venerable friction folders of the past with updated materials and an ergonomic design that is sure to become a working heirloom for generations to come. Made in the U.S.A and backed by our famous Lifetime Warranty.
