Quarter-Inch Steel vs Rope | AD20 CXT CUT TEST Media
Published: 2 days ago
The whole Demko Knives crew tries their skill on the 1" rope cut challenge using the new Demko Knives AD20 CXT, an AD20 Compact with quarter-inch blade stock. The shortened chassis with an exceptionally thick blade isn't designed for chopping hanging rope, but that doesn't stop the team from proving that every Demko Knife is designed Performance Firstâ„¢ and can excel even outside its intended purpose.
The rope cut challenge is best suited for longer, chopper-style fixed blade knives. The majority of folding knives on the market don't have the characteristics needed to pass the test. That doesn't stop the Demko brothers from engineering Demko Knives folders to outshine and overperform when called upon.
The AD20 CXT is a limited production (LP) model from Demko Knives. These are made in very small batches and are not as readily available compared to other models. More AD20 CXT are in production and will be available in small batches in the months and years to come.
