Oregonian through and through. Designer Eric Ochs grew up in the Pacific Northwest—in the woods, the rivers, and the valleys that occupied his backyard. Inspired by a slower tempo of living, he designed the Largo™ everyday carry folding knife replete with a bottle opener. Because if there’s one thing that the ‘upper left’ does almost as well as its outdoor adventure, it’s the micobrews.
There’s a pride in calling the PNW home, and Eric Ochs takes that seriously. That’s why, from his shop in Sherwood, Oregon, he’s built an everyday carry named after a slower tempo—one that captures the attitude of this hardworking yet laid back style of living.
The Largo’s™ solid, compact drop point blade with a satin finish is easily set into motion with an attractive black ambidextrous thumb stud. When met with the OutBurst® assisted opening mechanism, it elevates the showmanship to the next level. Once you push it open to 30 degrees, the spring will automatically engage and propel the knife fully open. The powerful mechanism also holds the blade securely closed when not in use.
An ode to a microbrew never looked better than it does on the Largo™.
How OutBurst™ Assisted Opening Works
Manually open the blade up to 30 degrees and the patented OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism springs the knife fully open so that you’re good to go. The powerful spring also holds the blade securely closed when not in use.
