Chaplins are one of the most fundamental tricks in comboing due to the many different chaplins that can be done theoretically on every single finger. Chaplins are extremely popular to combo with rolls and twirls. The momentum allows chaplins to be combod out and into rolls, and a reversal of momentum allows chaplins to combo into twirls easily.

These are standard horizontal chaplins. Vertical chaplins have a little bit of a different learning "process". Reverse chaplins (bit more advanced) go in the opposite direction, and Zero Gravity (0G) Chaplins (also a bit more advanced) are done with the hand above the knife instead of below. Then there's also Rev 0g chaplins.

Big Reccomended to not try chaplins on a double-edged bali! Chaps are basically a no go with DE flipping.
