Published: 3 years ago
Fun lathe project with some great machining processes implemented such as: Focus on order of operations; using a Dead Center to dial in an off center bore; Knurling including saving a knurl that did not finish well; and Joining 4140 with 7075 Aluminum and machining as one piece.
Even if you don't make a tool height gauge for your lathe, this video offers some great machining tips and ideas for the lathe and the milling machine.
