Neighbor found me on NextDoor and asked if I could mount his King Tech 180 RC Jet Engine on an old battery powered Razor Scooter he found. Looked like a pretty interesting project and it was.
Innovative Jet Scooter prototype where we make a Jet mounting bracket, some half round brackets for the handle bars and some wide U brackets to mount the fuel cell. Also make some brackets to mount all the RC Jet Electronics in the battery compartment.
Lathe work done on a Precision Matthews PM 1440TL. Mill work done on a Jet JMD18 Mill Drill. Glacern Machine Tools vise, GARR end mills.
King Tech 180 Jet Turbine Engine
Jet Scooter Upgrades Video coming soon where we will upgrade the throttle to a bar mounted throttle, add a roll cage to protect the jet engine and mount a much smaller and cleaner transmitter.
Thanks for watching!
