Discuss ATSM B265 standards around Titanium and how this could impact what you get and it if will work for your project. I paid a large stupid tax on my order and want to save you that pain!
I ordered some 2x5x0.195" Grade 5 Titanium Plates and they were sheared instead of saw cut. The shearing process warped all the plates anywhere from .005" to .030" and they would no longer clean up and work for my project. Lost money and expensive learning for me.
Make sure you are aware of ATSM B265 standards and be sure to share with your vendor, exactly what you are planning to do with your material order. This should help them ensure what they send you will work.
Thanks for watching!
