Setting Up Stock On A Pallet In Fusion 360 & Pattern Your CAM Across Your Pallet Media

Published: 2 years ago

How to put your stock on a Pallet and ensure you have the correct offsets when using a single point of origin. To do this you need to create stock around your design and then machine from a solid instead of machine from a relative size box like in a vise. Took me a little bit to figure this out. Initially, I was just using a joint to connect my part right to the pallet, but then the offset was not correct and not aligned to my single point of origin. This video will help you get the most out of your pallet system such as the Pierson Pro Pallet from Pierson Workholding.

A Fusion Flicker is a very short video covering a learning point in Fusion 360.

I am sure there are several ways to accomplish a similar end result in Fusion 360 and increase your CNC Production Efficiency of the same part. I am still relatively new to Fusion 360 so this video is designed for Fusion 360 Intermediate users. There are a lot more shortcut keys and I am sure even more efficient ways this could be done. I just wanted to share what was working for me so far.

Thank you for watching!
