Pattadas - The Perfect Charcuterie Knife Media
Published: 6 months ago
The Pattada is a traditional Italian knife pattern from Sardinia going back to the 1700s, used as a general utility knife by sheepherders and for everyday use. The blade is inspired by the shape of a laurel leaf with this outward belly and lends itself to the edge, easily feeding into the material you're cutting. The old school folding ones always had a ton of pins all along the back of the handle, which you don't see very often. Ryan decided to make this set more kitchen focused with a full tang for easy cleaning. It's a great kitchen utility knife, picnic companion, or addition to your charcuterie board.
